The W32.Scrshotvid is a worm that is affecting the following Windows operating systems: Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003
This worm spreads itself by copying to removable drives on infected computers. It can also copy itself to internal drives and other drives that are mapped via the network etc.
The worm spreads via removable drives and it can be hidden in a clean program. So you may unknowingly install the worm and get infected without realizing. The worm can be very harmful as it connects to remote servers and can download or upload data. This can lead to further malware being installed on your computer. You also risk losing private and confidential data.
